Privacy Policy

Elixate · Last updated: May 18, 2026

1. Overview

Elixate is a health and fitness app for iOS. We designed it with privacy as a core principle. All information stays on your device. We do not operate user accounts, registration, or remote servers that receive your personal data.

This policy explains what limited information the app may access, how it is used, and your choices. By using Elixate, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Elixate collects only what is needed to provide its features, and only on your device:

  • Step count — read from Apple Health, with your permission (read-only access).
  • App data you create — such as preferences and activity related to the app’s features, stored locally on your iPhone or iPad.

We do not collect:

  • Name, email address, or other account credentials (there are no accounts).
  • Location data beyond what Apple Health may already store (Elixate does not request location access).
  • Advertising identifiers, analytics events, or usage tracking for marketing.
  • Any data transmitted to our servers or third-party services — because we do not send data off your device.

3. How We Use Information

Information accessed or stored by Elixate is used solely to:

  • Display and support health and fitness features within the app.
  • Remember your settings and progress on your device.
  • Present step count and related insights based on Apple Health data you authorize.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. There is no behavioral advertising in Elixate.

4. Apple Health Integration

With your explicit permission, Elixate can read your step count from Apple Health (HealthKit). Access is read-only — the app does not write data back to Health unless clearly stated in the app at the time of use.

You control Health permissions in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Elixate. You may revoke access at any time; the app will no longer read new step data from Health.

Data in Apple Health is governed by Apple’s privacy practices. We encourage you to review Apple’s Privacy Policy for how Health data is managed on your device.

5. Data Storage and Security

All Elixate data is stored locally on your device only. We do not sync your information to cloud servers operated by us, and we do not maintain user databases.

Your data benefits from the security of your device — including passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and device encryption provided by Apple. If you delete the app or erase your device, app-specific data stored by Elixate is removed according to iOS behavior.

Because data never leaves your device through Elixate, risks associated with network transmission or remote data breaches from our systems do not apply. You remain responsible for securing your device and any backups you create through iCloud or other services.

6. Children's Privacy

Elixate is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require registration and does not transmit data to us.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the app in a way that concerns you, please contact us using the details below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Elixate after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

For material changes, we may provide additional notice within the app where appropriate.
